Meghan is a UK Based freelance Director and Theatre Maker from Newcastle upon Tyne working Nationally and Internationally, specialising in creating original Actor-Musician work.

From 2020-2025 she was Associate Artist at The Lowry and from 2013-2023 she was Co-Artistic Director of The Letter Room - a national touring company creating original musicals.

Meghan has worked with companies including RSC, Royal Court, Les Enfants Terribles and Northern Stage

In 2023 she was the inaugural Emma Rice and Wise Children Mentee. She was the Bryan Forbes Director for the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain’s (NYT) REP company in 2018 and recipient of the RTYDS 3-month placement in 2016 for early career directors from backgrounds currently under-represented in theatre.
She was on the WildVision 2022/23 Directors scheme for female theatre directors looking to direct for Screen.

Meghan trained as an Assistant Director to Directors including John Tiffany, Maria Åberg, Ned Bennett and Suba Das.

Alongside her directing work, Meghan is a Facilitator, Actor and Singer-Songwriter. She is also writing an original comedy-drama series supported by New Writing North, originating from the BFI & Film Hub North’s ‘Scratch Me’ scheme.
